Simply titled <em>Live, Vol. 5<\/em>, it opens with a monstrous \u201cPursuit of Trance\u201d and a much extended take of \u201cWindmill,\u201d both from Spafford\u2019s recent appearance at New York City\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nysmusic.com\/2024\/09\/15\/australias-paul-kelly-is-coming-to-le-poisson-rouge-on-october-14\/\">(le) poisson rouge<\/a> on June 13. This new release will be available on October 10, 2025 on all major streaming platforms or\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/965880a6.disco-tracking.net\/campaign_redir?business_id=46953&amp;campaign_id=204209&amp;session_recipient_id=124502374&amp;url=NB2HI4DTHIXS63DJNZVXI4ROMVSS643QMFTGM33SMRPXEZLMMVQXGZLT&amp;signature=jtDgGtylejKS7BB3aBHNKYwv-Hg%3A3g3O5Ubr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pre-save &amp; pre-order<\/a>\u00a0now.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mixed and mastered by Isaac Civitello and featuring album art by Sean Tierney,<em> Live, Vol. 5<\/em> showcases standout moments from Spafford\u2019s 2025 tour, with each track selected to represent the band\u2019s live evolution and trademark jam-driven soundscapes as they continue to hone their sound with new bassist Shon Gordon.<\/p>\n<p>Other highlights on this latest live album include a funked out Steve Miller Band cover courtesy of the rhythmic \u201cJam \u2013 Swingtown\u201d from August 8 in Cincinnati, an introspective \u201cNight After Night,\u201d and the rarely played \u201cComfortable,\u201d recorded during a particularly electric Georgia performance. The album also features a very rare \u201cSoundcheck Jam\u201d from Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC on July 18, a 23-minute exploration that blurs the line between rehearsal and performance.<\/p>\n<p>Spafford\u2019s Fall Tour kicks off next month on October 21 in Seattle, WA.
