\u201cThe Dude\u201d knew that a rug could pull a whole room together \u2014 and it seems that <\/span>Jeff Bridges<\/span><\/a> has internalized that message. But in this particular case, one line pulled a whole comedy bit together.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Oscar-winning actor appeared on \u201c<\/span>Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/span><\/a>\u201d Tuesday night and at the tail end of the interview, Kimmel asked the \u201cBig Lebowski\u201d star if he could channel his iconic character to \u201cshare some words of wisdom,\u201d and Bridges was more than happy to oblige \u2014 especially when Kimmel busted out a cardigan and a few White Russian cocktails to help get him into the Dude\u2019s mindset.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Screenshot \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d via YouTube<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n And during his riff \u2014 which began as a call to Americans to \u201ccalm the fuck down\u201d in today\u2019s political climate \u2014 Bridges may have stumbled upon the perfect rallying call against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cHey, world! Yeah, the Dude here,\u201d Bridges began, speaking directly into the camera. \u201cCan we just all calm the fuck down? I mean, come on, I\u2019m talking about all the wars, the fighting, the cancelling, I mean, let\u2019s just chill out man, come on.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n He continued, \u201cWe\u2019re at like, what, a nine? We oughta be at zero. Or zero and a half max, right?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Bridges then seemed to get inspired by the contents of his cocktail \u2014 before coming up with one snappy anti-ICE slogan.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cICE! Let\u2019s get ICE off our streets and into our beverages.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n After the audience applauded the clever line, Bridges continued on as the Dude.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis aggression will not stand, right?\u201d he said, quoting one of his <\/span>most famous lines from the film<\/span><\/a>. \u201cSo let\u2019s just abide together.
