Previously reported cast members include Nicole Beharie<\/a> and John Douglas Thompson.<\/p>\n Based on the S.A. Cosby novel of the same name, All The Sinners Bleed<\/em> stars D\u00ecr\u00eds\u00f9 as the first Black sheriff in a small southern, Bible Belt county. According to the article, \u201cHaunted by his devout mother\u2019s untimely death, he must lead the hunt for a serial killer who has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God.\u201d<\/p>\n Ezra is set to play Marquis Crown, the brother of D\u00ecr\u00eds\u00f9\u2019s character Titus Crown. Cort\u00e9s will play Titus\u2019 coworker, Deputy Carla Ortiz. They round out Titus\u2019 core group of people close to him in his life, which also includes his girlfriend, Darlene (Beharie,) and his father, Albert (Thompson).<\/p>\n Black Panther <\/em>and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever <\/em>co-writer Joe Robert Cole has adapted the series for Netflix and will also serve as showrunner, executive producer and director for the premiere and other episodes.<\/p>\n Other executive producers include the Obamas\u2019 Higher Ground Productions as well as Amblin Television.
