Pets, apparently, can have strong opinions about music, too. Our favorite singing kitty, Violet, is back for another duet with her super-talented human mom. You may remember this furry little diva from a few months ago, when she and her mama knocked it out of the park when they teamed up to sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow<\/a>.”<\/p>\n In a new clip uploaded to TikTok, Violet looks a little reluctant to join in on the ABBA classic, “Dancing Queen.” Take a look and a listen, and let us know if you think Violet would prefer to fast-forward to the next tune.<\/p>\n Look at those gorgeous eyes! Love her,” one fan wrote.<\/p>\n It\u2019s hard to imagine anyone not loving the Swedish supergroup, and yet here\u2019s Violet, who looks as if she\u2019s humoring her sweet mom out of love rather than having a true interest in this hit tune.<\/p>\n “This is not her favorite, I can tell,” another person wrote.<\/p>\n But what a sweet girl to play along and still give it her all! My cats would walk away in a second. Heck, they’d never partner with me for a duet in the first place. Thankfully, she recovered and was back practicing her vocal warm-ups<\/a> in no time!<\/p>\n One viewer wants to take the spotlight off Violet and shine it on this kitty’s human mom, who truly has a stunning voice.<\/p>\n “Nobody\u2019s talking about the beautiful singing voice? When Violet winks at her mom, it’s almost like that’s her kitty way of applauding. Too sweet.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve all seen plenty of Cockatoos bopping to the beat<\/a> of their favorite tunes and showing off their dance moves, but do dogs enjoy music?<\/p>\n According to a 2002 study of shelter dogs<\/a>, which was conducted by an animal behaviorist, it turns out that dogs do respond to music.<\/p>\n Do they have a favorite type? Rap? Country? Jazz?<\/p>\n The study found that classical music resulted in less barking and a reduction in stress, while heavy metal music got the pups agitated. No surprise there.<\/p>\n We’re sure Violet’s mom will find another song for the two to perform together\u2014one that really speaks to Violet’s taste.
