Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> is telling her version of the time that Zoe Kravitz<\/strong><\/a> and Lisa Bonet<\/strong><\/a> lost a pet snake in her Los Angeles home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The snake incident occurred after the pop star, 35, let Kravitz, 36, and her mom Bonet, 57, stay at her property after evacuating during the California wildfires earlier this year. As Kravitz explained<\/span><\/a> in an August appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers<\/i><\/a>, the reptile \u2014\u00a0named Orpheus \u2014\u00a0belongs to Bonet and had slithered into a small hole in Swift\u2019s bathroom. Bonet grabbed Orpheus\u2019 tail and Swift\u2019s house manager found a crowbar and proceeded to \u201cdestroy\u201d the bathroom in a successful effort to retrieve the snake, Kravitz said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nearly two months after Kravitz\u2019s Late Night<\/i> story, Swift presented her side while appearing on Meyers\u2019 NBC show on Wednesday, October 8.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to preface this with, we\u2019ve all got that one friend,\u201d she joked to Meyers, adding, \u201cI just remember getting a call from my head of security and him trying to explain this story to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s first question to him was, \u201cWhat snake?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI kind of found myself listening to this,\u201d she recalled. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018Uh-huh, OK, OK.\u2019 And I hate to first-and-last name a friend, but it\u2019s important in this situation. OK, so, Zoe Kravitz and Lisa Bonet are holding on to a Burmese python. It\u2019s halfway in the wall. There\u2019s a man standing with an ax, who has just chopped up a custom vintage antique cupboard.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift continued, \u201cThere\u2019s splinters on the floor. They\u2019re looking \u2014 in my mind, they\u2019re looking up over their shoulder. This is an Annie Leibovitz<\/strong> shoot. \u2026 This is the chicest thing I\u2019ve ever heard in my life. Zoe\u2019s wearing, like, head-to-toe The Row. I\u2019m like, \u2018This is a YSL ad, not a problem.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt just sounds incredible. I\u2019m sad I didn\u2019t see it.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The duo\u2019s friendship goes back to at least 2016, when they were spotted grabbing dinner in New York City with Swift\u2019s star-studded squad. \u201cSomething about \u2018we\u2019re in our young 20s!\u2019 hurls people together into groups that can feel like your chosen family,\u201d [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Swift said, \u201cI can\u2019t even be mad,\u201d and recalled not immediately letting Kravitz know what she<\/em> knew about the snake and the furniture damage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
