Born Ntsako Mhlanga in Daveyton, East Rand, Jst Sako has steadily built a reputation for his emotive Afro-Fusion sound. The singer-songwriter\u2019s inclusion in the Up Next series coincides with the release of his debut album TUKA<\/em>, a 14-track project that explores themes of love, heartbreak, renewal, and self-discovery.<\/p>\n Reflecting on the recognition, Sako said being selected by Apple Music was \u201chumbling\u201d and a testament to the collective effort behind his career. \u201cIt took a village, every soul who believed in and walked with me. To be recognised by Apple Music only amplifies that truth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Written over several years, TUKA<\/em> captures Sako\u2019s personal and artistic evolution. The album features collaborations with a range of artists including Manu WorldStar, Gemma Griffiths, Lolli Native, ReasonHD, KLY, and Loki. \u201cI poured my soul into creating this first album, every beat, every word, crafted for the people,\u201d he told Apple Music.<\/p>\n As part of his selection, Jst Sako will appear on Apple Music\u2019s Up Next playlist<\/a>, which showcases emerging talent from around the world.
