As the only daughter of two of the most famous people in the world, both of whom are now stars of their own Netflix documentaries, Harper Seven Beckham was never set up for an ordinary life.<\/p>\n

Ever since then, Harper has grown up in the spotlight and in recent years she has emerged on her parents’ social media pages, featured in their respective documentaries and sat FROW at fashion weeks<\/a> around the world. She is David and Victoria’s fourth child and the younger sibling of Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo Beckham and Cruz Beckham.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n It might surprise you to discover that Harper is named after Harper Lee, the author of To Kill A Mocking Bird<\/em>. ‘Victoria’s favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird<\/em>,’ David explained shortly after she was born, ‘it’s a very strong, passionate book and the author was Harper Lee, and that is where Harper came from.’<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n He added that while most people had assumed the name Seven was a reference to his shirt number at Manchester United, that was only part of the reason. ‘The main reason behind Seven was it symbolises spiritual perfection \u2013 the seven wonders of the world, the seven colours of the rainbow \u2013 and in many cultures it is a lucky number. We love the name and we love Harper Seven. We are very happy to have her in our lives and in our family, and it is an amazing time for our family right now.’<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n She’s not, as some have hypothesised, named after Harper’s Bazaar<\/em>. However, there is a sweet moment at the end of the VB doc where Harper sees a branded backing board at the Harper’s Bazaar Awards and thought it was because of her.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n David and Victoria have always been gushing about their youngest child. When Harper was born, David told Access Hollywood<\/em>: ‘She’s got three brothers that will take care of her, three brothers that will eat with her and three brothers that will bring her back home and a dad waiting for her. So yeah, we’ll see. That’ll be interesting.’<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Two years later, David told _The Su_n: ‘She’s not going out. She’s going to be like Rapunzel – up in the tower.’ And it seems his protective nature has never wavered. The former England player recently shared an Instagram Story of a salad he made for Harper’s school snack where he fashioned a tomato into a heart shape. ‘I made this salad for Harper’s school snack today. Hope she doesn’t find the [heart] embarrassing now she is 14,’ he joked.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n ‘I have no power with that little girl,’ he once said, ‘no power whatsoever. I love all my children, of course \u2013 equally \u2013 but I\u2019m definitely stricter with the boys than I am with Harper.’<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n ‘I\u00a0can\u2019t say no to her,’ he added. ‘I think I only said no to her once; her bottom lip started shivering and I was like: “Never again.” She\u2019s amazing. She\u2019s a princess with Victoria \u2013 obviously she’s a big mummy’s girl \u2013 but she\u2019s also a big daddy\u2019s girl, which I love.
