Inspiration for the track \u201cGolden\u201d from KPop Demon Hunters<\/em> struck EJAE<\/strong> at a funny time.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, October 7, EJAE, 33, Audrey Nuna<\/strong>, and Rei Ami<\/strong> \u2014 the three women who provided the singing voices for the girl group Huntr\/x in the movie \u2014 appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a><\/em>. During the episode, EJAE, who co-wrote \u201cGolden\u201d with Mark Sonnenblick<\/strong>, revealed how the song came to be.<\/p>\n \u201cI was in the car, the cab, and on the way to the dentist, that\u2019s when I received the track from the amazing Black Label, the producers, Teddy [Park]<\/strong>, 24, Ido,<\/strong> and also Ian Eisendrath<\/strong>, our music director,\u201d she recounted.<\/p>\n \u201cI received the track, and the track was just so beautiful,\u201d she gushed. \u201cThat intro is so, so beautiful. And this rarely happens, but, like, it just instantly I got, like, inspiration from it, melodically.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cImmediately, I had to record it, so I got a voice memo,\u201d EJAE explained before she vocalized the tune. \u201cI have the voice memo, and, like, you could hear me just going, \u2018Neh, neh, neh.\u2019 I don\u2019t know what I was saying. It was just gibberish.\u201d<\/p>\n EJAE noted that after she and Sonnenblick finished the song, \u201cWe\u2019re just like, \u2018Wait.
