Tarek El Moussa<\/strong>\u2019s<\/a> recent middle-of-the-night livestream on TikTok had fans concerned after his behavior appeared erratic.<\/p>\n

In the video, which has since circulated online, El Moussa, 44, engaged with viewer comments as he clutched a plastic water bottle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI absolutely loved filming that show,\u201d the HGTV star said, per Daily Mail<\/em>,<\/a> referring to his series The Flip Off<\/em>. \u201cIs anyone watching right now \u2013 watched that show, The Flip Off<\/em>??\u201d<\/p>\n

El Moussa then seemingly responded to a fan comment and said, \u201cI ski, I snowboard, I do all the things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some viewers later took to Reddit with their concern about his bizarre behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe looks crazed,\u201d one person wrote, while another added, \u201cHe was a lot worse than this about a week or two ago. Did a live in the evening and he was literally picking fights with people and screaming. Red-faced. Bug-eyed. Went on for HOURS doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, El Moussa\u2019s rep offered an explanation for his odd behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cTarek couldn\u2019t sleep and got on TikTok Live overnight, turning his insomnia into creativity,\u201d the representative said in a statement to Star.<\/em> \u201cHe has been trying to source leads for an unlisted property for the next season of The Flip Off<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFunny enough, this impromptu live turned out to be his highest-engaging one yet, driving the most leads and followers in the shortest amount of time,\u201d the rep added. \u201cTurned out to be a surprisingly productive result of a sleepless night.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
