Bad Bunny has been picked to be the halftime performer at Super Bowl LX, and MAGA has not been happy about it.<\/p>\n
They have even been tossing around the idea of having their own alternate halftime show featuring a surprise rock pick as their star performer. But House Speaker Mike Johnson pitched another name while recently bashing Bad Bunny\u2019s selection, and it looks like the singer is down to do it.<\/p>\n
Johnson called the pick a \u201cterrible decision.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are so many eyes on the Super Bowl \u2014 a lot of young, impressionable children,\u201d Johnson said. <\/p>\n
He then pitched an outside of the box pick of his own \u2014 country music icon Lee Greenwood \u2014 claiming that he would appeal to \u201ca broader audience.\u201d<\/p>\n
TMZ said it asked the \u201cGod Bless the U.S.A.\u201d singer<\/b> <\/a>about it, and he told the outlet that he would step up and crush the halftime show. While that is unlikely to happen, TMZ said fans who want to see Greenwood get a halftime gig in can check him out during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys\u2019 Monday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 3.<\/p>\n MAGA has also been pushing for Creed to perform during an alternate Super Bowl halftime show. <\/p>\n Conservative influencer Jack Posobiec has floated the late Charlie Kirk\u2019s Turning Point USA hosting Creed for a \u201ccounter-Super Bowl halftime show.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBy every measure Creed has earned the Super Bowl halftime gig,\u201d Posobiec said.<\/b><\/a> <\/b>\u201cIt is time for them to take us Higher.
