Dolly Parton has reassured fans she ‘isn’t dying’ and that God ‘isn’t through with her yet’ in a charming new video update. <\/strong><\/p>\n The country star worried fans when she postponed her December Las Vegas residency over health concerns last week. <\/p>\n Her sister then shared she’d been ‘up all night’ praying for her sister, but later reassured fans the singer was just ‘a little under the weather.’<\/p>\n “I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious when asking for prayers,” she said. <\/p>\n Now, Dolly has taken matters into her own hands with a witty social media video shared on Wednesday October 8. <\/p>\n In full glam, Dolly addressed fans while shooting a TV commercial. <\/p>\n “Do I look sick to you? I’m working hard here!” she joked. <\/p>\n Dolly said she appreciated everyone’s concerns and prayers, adding: “I could always use the prayers for anything and everything.”<\/p>\n She gave a bit more context around her health problems, adding that she had some ‘issues’ from when her husband Carl was sick long-term.<\/p>\n “When he passed, I didn’t take care of myself so I let a lot of things go that I should’ve been taking care of,” she shared. <\/p>\n When she ‘got around to it,’ doctors said there were some things that needed taking care of but ‘nothing major.’ <\/p>\n She wanted to stay closer to home and the center where she’s having ‘a few treatments at.’<\/p>\n “I’m not dying!” she added. <\/p>\n Back in March, Parton shared the heartbreaking news that her husband of almost 60 years, Carl Dean, had died at the age of 82.<\/p>\n In June, she said she’d put writing songs on hold as she coped with the devastating loss. The pair had met back in 1964 outside the Wishy Washy Laundromat in Nashville.<\/p>\n Parton was 18 and Dean was 21.
