A new profile on Kevin by The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> revealed that he got a bit too \u201cpassionate\u201d during a debate about the Yellowstone script.<\/p>\n While filming a scene with Wes and Kelly, who played his adult children in the series, things got a bit tense for all the wrong reasons. According to insiders, Kevin was pushing Wes to go off-script and ad lib his lines.<\/p>\n The younger actor refused, saying it was director Taylor Sheridan\u2019s call. Kevin, who served as executive producer<\/a> in the show, apparently didn\u2019t take it well.<\/p>\n According to an eyewitness, \u201cKevin didn\u2019t like that, and he lunged at him.\u201d<\/p>\n The insider added that \u201cno fists were thrown,\u201d but the pair \u201cwere in each other\u2019s faces, pushing and shoving and just getting hot until they had to be separated.\u201d<\/p>\n The source also told THR that production on the soundstage in Utah was shut down for a while, with Kelly upset and crying over the exchange.<\/p>\n The incident was apparently the last straw for the crew, who sources say were fed up of Kevin\u2019s \u201cdiva-like\u201d behavior.<\/p>\n Another source told the publication: \u201cThe incident with Wes was the line in the sand. Everything was different after that. Everyone loved Wes, and so that really made Taylor upset. Kevin and Taylor butted heads from there on out. It got very awkward.\u201d<\/p>\n Kevin\u2019s character was ultimately killed of at the beginning of the final season.
