Fresh off My Morning Jacket\u2019s 20th anniversary reissue of Z<\/em>, the band will appear on the latest episode of Austin City Limits<\/em>. Jim James and company will also be inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame alongside the performance, with director Cameron Crowe presenting the award.<\/p>\n The band\u2019s hour-long ACL<\/em> set arrives on YouTube today ahead of its TV premiere on Oct. 18, and Rolling Stone<\/em> has exclusive video of a performance of Z<\/em>\u2019s \u201cKnot Comes Loose\u201d that was cut from both broadcasts.<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201c\u2018Knot Comes Loose\u2019 is just about being open to embracing change and overcoming fear \u2014 realizing that something that may seem so stuck or set in stone or trapped in its patterns can be released or set free with patience and love,\u201d James said of the track in a statement.<\/p>\n My Morning Jacket will continue to celebrate Z<\/em> on the road this fall with a series of concerts revolving around the 2005 album. \u201cOctober 4 is the 20th anniversary of our album Z.<\/em> It\u2019s pretty wild to think about that,\u201d James said. \u201cTo celebrate two decades of it being out in the ether, we\u2019re excited to be turning five of our shows into special Z<\/em> anniversary shows, where we\u2019ll play that album \u2014 and some other songs, don\u2019t worry \u2014 front to back.\u201d<\/p>\n In a recent episode of the Rolling Stone Music Now<\/em> podcast<\/a>, James explained the meaning behind the LP\u2019s one-letter title. \u201cI thought it would be our last album. That\u2019s why I named it\u00a0Z,\u201d <\/em>James said. \u201cBecause I was entertaining taking my own life as well, and I was feeling so pessimistic that I was sure that [the album] wouldn\u2019t work out. I was sure that it would suck and that everybody would hate it and that everything would collapse. That\u2019s how powerful depression is.
