This one\u2019s for you: Monster<\/em><\/a>, Ryan Murphy<\/a> and Ian Brennan\u2019s hit crime anthology series has begun filming its fourth season on Borden. Ella Beatty will play Borden, who was tried and acquitted for slashing her father and stepmother in their Massachusetts home when she was 32 years old.<\/p>\n Production started in Los Angeles just days after Season Three, on Ed Gein<\/a>, premiered on Netflix on Oct. 3. According to Variety<\/em><\/a>, Charlie Hunnam \u2013 the star of Monster<\/em>\u2019s latest season as Ed Gein \u2013 will play Lizzie\u2019s father\u00a0Andrew Jackson Borden. The cast also includes Rebecca Hall as Lizzie\u2019s stepmother, Abby; Billie Lourd as Lizzie\u2019s sister, Emma Borden; Jessica Barden as the Lizzie\u2019s friend and actress Nance O\u2019Neill; and Vicky Krieps as Bridget Sullvan, the family\u2019s maid.<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n Since its 2022 premiere as Dahmer \u2013 Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story<\/em><\/a>, the Monster<\/em> series has developed popular and critical acclaim and a cinematic universe that Murphy suggests<\/a> has influenced how the crimes are understood and engaged with today.<\/p>\n Season Two, Monsters<\/em>: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story <\/em>corresponded with a surge in public interest in the case of the brothers who were jailed in the nineties for the violent muder of their parents, with Murphy saying select episodes were \u201cProbably one of the things that has led to an understanding of this case and a move towards justice.\u201d Amid the renewed interest, the Los Angeles District Attorney, announced<\/a> that his office was evaluating new evidence that suggested the brothers were molested by their father.
