He almost went out with a bang. <\/p>\n

Jeremiah Ing, the latest contestant eliminated from \u201cSurvivor 49,\u201d<\/a> exclusively told The Post that he thought there was going to be a historic 1-1-1 tie vote between himself, Sophi Baledri and Alex Moore at tribal council on Wednesday\u2019s episode. <\/p>\n

\u201cI knew Sophi had flipped on me because there was a time when Sophi and I were talking and she asked me what Alex said. And I\u2019m like, \u2018That\u2019s interesting. You flipped on me,’\u201d the 39-year-old global events manager recalled. \u201cAnd I didn\u2019t know where Alex\u2019s mind was at. So I thought Alex was voting for Sophi, and I was voting for Alex. So I thought it was going to be a three way tie among the three of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI really did consider playing my Shot in the Dark,\u201d Ing continued, \u201cbut I was scared because if I lost my vote and it was a tie, then I would have gone home automatically. So I went into that tribal council knowing that there was like a 50 percent chance of me going home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe that was just my delirious mindset of like everything that I was going through,\u201d Ing added of his expectations for the vote, \u201cbut that\u2019s what I thought.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ing also opened up about tribemate Jake Latimer<\/a> being medically evacuated from the game due to a snake bite.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care if it\u2019s like your worst enemy or somebody who you don\u2019t like \u2014 you just don\u2019t wish for that to happen to anybody,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s all of our dream. We went through the most intense application process. We\u2019re there, we want to play the game, and it\u2019s a game. So for someone\u2019s life to be compromised is really scary and unfortunate and I would never wish that upon somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ing added that his tribe didn\u2019t know that when they were arriving to the immunity challenge Jeff Probst was going to break the news that Latimer was out of the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we showed up, I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, well, where\u2019s Jake? I have his backpack.\u2019 And then Jeff starts talking and he says he\u2019s not coming back to the game. It was kind of like, \u2018Wait, what? He\u2019s not coming back?\u2019 So it was shocking,\u201d Ing explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if it was just my mind trying to be positive and tell myself he\u2019s coming back because that\u2019s how I had to deal with it. Alex was like, \u2018Well, he got bit on the foot. That\u2019s a really poisonous snake.\u2019 Yeah, I wasn\u2019t expecting it.\u201d<\/p>\n
