A gaming influencer and former OnlyFans<\/a> model, who goes by Fandy<\/strong>, shocked her followers by giving birth<\/a> during an eight-hour livestream.<\/p>\n

Fandy streamed the entire process via Twitch<\/a>, beginning Tuesday, October 7, and ending early the next morning as she held her newborn daughter, Luna, for the final 45 minutes of the broadcast. More than 50,000 people watched the streamer, whose usual content involves playing games like World of Warcraft<\/em> and League of Legends<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI live streamed my birth to my community I had been streaming to for 10 years,\u201d Fandy, 33, wrote via Instagram<\/a> later on Wednesday. \u201cI\u2019m very grateful for the amount of people who tuned in to share the special moment with us, and incredibly grateful to my amazing friends who dropped everything that day to help support me through the whole thing!\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, which she titled \u201cWater Broke, Baby Time,\u201d Fandy is seen in an inflated tub filled with water and her husband, Adam<\/strong>, by her side. They were also joined by a team of people there to help with the birth and live stream.<\/p>\n

In Fandy\u2019s Instagram post, she also acknowledged the criticism that has come pouring in since the live stream.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are TONS of births that have been documented,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThis is no different from the thousands of them out there, it was just done in a live format, which showed the entirety of the birth process \u2014 the ugly and the not so pleasant parts included.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cIt was one of the hardest things I\u2019ve ever done and I chose to do a home birth because my previous birth was in a hospital setting and I was not a fan of how much agency over it you aren\u2019t allowed to have. I had a plan set in the off chance that there were complications for transfer to a hospital, and made sure I was a low risk pregnancy and did my due diligence to make sure everything was done safely! My midwife and nurse had done their job for 20+ years and delivered thousands of babies. I felt very comfortable with my choice for my family.\u201d<\/p>\n
