Ice Nine Kills<\/strong> have released a two-part short film for \u201cThe Last Laugh,\u201d a new single based on Tim Burton<\/strong>\u2018s Batman<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n The horror-inspired metalcore act is comprised of vocalist\u00a0Spencer Charnas<\/strong>, guitarists Dan Sugarman<\/strong> and Ricky Armellino<\/strong>, bassist Joe Occhiuti<\/strong>, and drummer Mike Cortada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The band members star in the video alongside Matthew Lillard<\/strong> (Scream<\/em>), Phil Morris<\/strong> (\u201cSeinfeld\u201d), and Terry Kiser<\/strong> (Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood<\/em>).<\/p>\n \u201c\u2018The Laugh Track\u2019 is our homage to Tim Burton\u2019s dark and gorgeous gothic Gotham. Batman<\/em> \u201989 took its comic book material seriously, but it was far from grounded and never forgot to have fun. It\u2019s the same tightrope we walk in Ice Nine Kills, with broad, maniacal smiles,\u201d Charnas comments. \u201cLike Prince before us, \u2018The Laugh Track\u2019 will have you dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight.\u201d<\/p>\n The latest installment in the INK cinematic universe is directed by frequent collaborator Jensen Noen <\/strong>and features special effects makeup designed by Christopher Nelson<\/strong> (Halloween, Suicide Squad<\/em>).<\/p>\n In addition to the single, Ice Nine Kills have teamed with Lillard\u2019s Macabre Spirits<\/strong><\/a> to release Horrorwood Reserve<\/strong>, a premium bourbon whiskey made from bloody butcher corn.<\/p>\n Priced at $129.99, 750-mL bottles of the 84-proof spirit come with 10 cocktail recipes and an INK brass skull stopper.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Last Laugh\u201d is now available<\/a> on all streaming platforms via Fearless Records.<\/p>\n
