The first teaser for Charli XCX\u2019s<\/a> upcoming new A24 film teaser,\u00a0The Moment<\/em>, has been shared today (October 9). Check it out below.<\/p>\n Back in August, Charli seemingly closed the door on her \u2018Brat\u2019 era while also teasing her appearance in the upcoming new A24 film.<\/a><\/p>\n Now, a new teaser of the film has been shared which was posted alongside the caption, \u2018based on an original idea by Charli XCX\u2019. The music for the project has been made by Charli\u2019s long term producer, A.G. Cook.<\/a><\/p>\n Written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, Charli star in the film, which, as per the official synopsis, will follow \u201ca rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.\u201d<\/p>\n The teaser also revealed more of the cast list, which includes Kylie Jenner<\/a> and Rachel Sennett as well as Rish Shah, who appeared in Ms. Marvel<\/a><\/em>, Isaac Cole Powell, who starred in Armando Iannucci\u2019s\u00a0HBO<\/a>\u00a0series\u00a0The Franchise,\u00a0<\/em>Kate Berlant, who starred alongside\u00a0Nicolas Cage<\/a>\u00a0in 2023 movie\u00a0Dream Scenario <\/em>and\u00a0Stath Lets Flats\u2019<\/em><\/a> Jamie Demetriou.<\/p>\n Previously-announced cast members include Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd (Succession<\/em><\/a>), Rosanna Arquette and Trew Mullen (Blink Twice<\/em><\/a>).<\/p>\n In the comments of the teaser\u2019s post on Instagram, director and co-writer of the project Aidan Zamiri, also hinted that the film would follow an unusual structure, writing: \u201cJust checking \u2013 a movie is just like a really long video right? or is more like a blog post with pictures?\u201d<\/p>\n You can watch the teaser, which features a re-mix of Icona Pop\u2019s \u2018I Don\u2019t Care\u2019, which Charli featured on in 2012, below:<\/p>\n In other news, Charli XCX recently shared studio footage, as her collaborator revealed she\u2019s working on a \u201creally different and fresh\u201d new album.<\/a><\/p>\n Following its release last year, \u2018Brat\u2019<\/a>\u00a0quickly evolved into a cultural phenomenon, with the concept of \u2018Brat\u2019 summer<\/a> even working its way into Kamala Harris\u2019s presidential campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last week (October 5), Charli took to X to share a five-second clip from the studio. The audio features some horror soundtrack-esque strings building to a sharp crescendo before coming to a sudden halt.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not clear if this is for the album, but the clip does come after Finn Keane, a producer who worked on \u2018Brat\u2019, gave an update on the record\u2019s progress last Monday (September 29). Speaking to Music News<\/em> at the BMI London Awards, he said: \u201cWe\u2019re kinda deep in it now, and I think it\u2019s gonna be really amazing\u2026 It feels really different and fresh at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
