A Texas man has gone viral after buying a life-size model of actor Henry Cavill<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

James Robertson-Reavis<\/strong> is no stranger to silicone models of his favorite celebs, having collected \u201cthousands\u201d since the early 1990s, but his latest addition has internet users raising their eyebrows.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe bought him to display and use for Instagram,\u201d Robertson-Reavis told the website Queerty<\/em><\/a> in an interview published Wednesday, October 8. \u201cA kind of roommate situation; life with Henry, in a way.\u201d<\/p>\n

He clarified that \u201cseveral\u201d of the dolls that he owns are Halloween-focused, and the Cavill model is the \u201conly\u201d real-life figure in his collection.<\/p>\n

The Cavill figure is \u201canatomically correct,\u201d but Robertson-Reavis clarified in the same interview that it\u2019s \u201cnot a sex doll,\u201d adding, \u201cHe isn\u2019t made like that, per se. I have added additional silicone \u2018pieces.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Robertson-Reavis has since started the My Cavill Companion<\/a> Instagram account, using AI to create content of the Cavill doll\u2019s day-to-day activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to the adventures of my Henry Cavill figure!\u201d the account\u2019s bio reads. (Cavill became Robertson-Reavis\u2019 favorite actor because of the 2007 movie Stardust.)<\/p>\n

\u201cIn order to maintain this page I want to add a disclaimer,\u201d reads one post uploaded on October 2. \u201cI am in no way affiliated with or pretend to be the real Henry Cavill. This is merely a fan page.\u201d<\/p>\n

The caption continued, \u201cAnd please note: I am not the artist who created this figure, I am the owner. I commissioned the artist to make him for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cavill doll was actually created by Steven Davies<\/strong>, a creator and collector of life-size figures.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Man of Steel is Complete. Life size Silicone Tribute Figure \u2014 Hand rooted head and body hair \u2014 glass eyes,\u201d Davies shared via Instagram<\/a> on September 18, showing off his recreation of Cavill. \u201cHenry is a true inspiration, the hard work and dedication he put into playing the Man of Steel is unmatched.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cIt is an honor to be able to create this art piece inspired by his image. Our largest and most detailed figure to date with over 350 man [hours] spent to create this art piece.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robertson-Reavis didn\u2019t share an exact price for the life-size rendition but offered a range between $7,000 to $12,000 when commissioning a project of the sort.<\/p>\n

A separate post on the My Cavill Companion account made it clear that the photos and videos were not of the \u201cactual actor\u201d but rather the figure of him.<\/p>\n
