I\u2019m personally a huge fan of both actors for very different reasons, so it\u2019ll be great to see the two come together on-screen in this heartbreaking new movie<\/a><\/strong>, set to be released by Amazon MGM. Based on the gripping novel by Bart Baker, Honeymoon with Harry follows Gyllenhaal\u2019s character, Todd, who is reeling from the tragic death of the love of his life, Tammy, who passed away just two days before their wedding date.<\/p>\n

Todd was head over heels in love with his fianc\u00e9e, and at first, their relationship was pure paradise. Yet turmoil ensued when Todd met Tammy\u2019s father, aka Harry (Kevin Costner), and the two constantly butted heads over every little thing. Their rivalry became so heated that Harry yearned to put an end to his daughter\u2019s engagement to Todd. <\/p>\n

But Todd refused to let Harry\u2019s conniving get in the way of his soulmate-level connection with Tammy. When she unexpectedly dies, the rival \u201cwould-be\u201d in-laws embark on a journey in what was intended to be Todd\u2019s honeymoon with Tammy. The movie doesn’t have an official release date yet. However, fans can\u2019t wait for the film, which has a script that\u2019s been heavily raved about in Hollywood for years now, with several prominent movie stars fighting tooth and nail for a part in this film project. Celebrities such as Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, and Vince Vaughn were eager to participate in Honeymoon with Harry, but the roles were ultimately secured by Gyllenhaal and Costner.<\/p>\n
