Per Elite Agent<\/a>via WSJ, Jones hired architect Gerald Allison and the design firm WATG to design his estate, after admiring the firm’s work on a hotel in South Africa.<\/p>\n As detailed in the Compass listing, the ultra-private home sits on 2.3 acres of land in the hills, and offers incredible panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the San Gabriel Mountains, and more. Inside the house there are endless amenities, including a screening room, a gym, multiple guest suites, a library, two bars, an office, a security office, an elevator, and more.<\/p>\n Outside, there are multiple terraces, balconies, and patios, as well as a tennis court, a pool, a cabana, an infinity-edge pool, and plenty of lawn space.<\/p>\n Quincy Jones was one of the most prolific and influential music producers of all time, having worked with renowned artists including Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, and Aretha Franklin, among many others.<\/p>\n He passed away at 91 years old on Nov. 3, 2024, and his cause of death was determined to be pancreatic cancer.
