Alan Jackson<\/strong> is hanging up his microphone soon.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, October 8, the beloved country singer, 66, shared a video on Instagram<\/a> telling the crowd at one of his shows some details about his final concert.<\/p>\n \u201cY\u2019all may have heard that I\u2019m winding down,\u201d Jackson remarked. \u201cIn fact, this is my last road show of my career.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI appreciate it, y\u2019all are gonna make me tear up here,\u201d Jackson continued. \u201cI just felt like I had to end it all where it all started \u2014 and that\u2019s in Nashville, Tennessee [a.k.a.] Music City, where country music was born and lives.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cGood Time\u201d singer\u2019s last concert \u2014 Last Call: One More for the Road \u2013 The Finale<\/a> \u2014 will take place on June 27, 2026, at Nissan Stadium.<\/p>\n A slew of country music legends will perform at the show, including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban,<\/strong> and Lee Ann Womack.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The two-time Grammy Award winner\u2019s announcement comes a few years after he revealed that he had Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease on Today<\/a> <\/em>in 2021. Jackson told Today<\/em> he was diagnosed a decade prior.<\/p>\n \u201cI have this neuropathy and neurological disease. It\u2019s genetic that I inherited from my daddy,\u201d Jackson shared. \u201cThere\u2019s no cure for it, but it\u2019s been affecting me for years. And it\u2019s getting more and more obvious. And I know I\u2019m stumbling around on stage. And now I\u2019m having a little trouble balancing, even in front of the microphone, and so I just feel very uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not going to kill me.
