\n\tFox Entertainment Global<\/a> has tapped Valerie Meraz as Senior Vice President leading content acquisition strategy.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn her new role, Meraz will spearhead sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation for content across all formats including scripted, unscripted and film for global distribution. She will report to Prentiss Fraser, President, Fox Entertainment Global.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to Fox, Meraz built a seasoned career as a media executive across premium pay cable, basic cable,\u00a0and digital-first platforms. She previously held leadership roles as WarnerMedia, Showtime, and Turner Networks. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tMeraz is the latest hire to the team at Fox Entertainment Global, the international distribution arm of the U.S. broadcaster. Last week, the company also hired former Sony Pictures exec\u00a0Matt Hanna<\/a>\u00a0as SVP, Sales, Americas.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
