Cross<\/em> is back on the case: Season 2 of the Prime Video crime drama will premiere Wednesday, Feb. 11 on the streamer with the first three episodes, with new episodes airing weekly after that, leading up to the March 18 finale. Prime Video announced the news Thursday at the show\u2019s panel at New York Comic Con.<\/p>\n The streamer also dropped a tense teaser for the new season \u2014\u00a0which you can watch above \u2014\u00a0with Aldis Hodge\u2019s D.C. detective Alex Cross declaring, \u201cThis begins and ends with me.\u201d We also catch a glimpse of new cast addition Matthew Lillard as Cross is warned, \u201cIf anyone hears about this, you\u2019re done.\u201d Cross also encounters what looks like a weird cult, with a woman ominously telling him, \u201cWe know everything about you.\u201d In Season 2, Cross \u201cis in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates,\u201d per the official synopsis.<\/p>\n More from TVLine<\/strong><\/p>\n Based on James Patterson\u2019s bestselling Alex Cross book series, Cross<\/em> stars Hodge (who also serves as an executive producer) as the title character. Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill all return for Season 2, along with new cast additions Lillard (Good Girls<\/em>), Jeanine Mason (Roswell, New Mexico<\/em>) and Wes Chatham (The Expanse<\/em>).<\/p>\n Debuting in November 2024, Cross<\/em> became Prime Video\u2019s third most-watched original series in its first 20 days, drawing more than 40 million viewers globally<\/a>.
