Young Thug revealed his top rappers and favorite albums during a guest appearance on Adin Ross\u2019 Kick channel last week. When asked about his top five rappers, dead or alive, Thug listed 2Pac, Drake, Wale and Big Sean (combined as one), Kanye West, and Lil Wayne.<\/p>\n
\u201cWale and Big Sean are slept-on. They\u2019re nuts,\u201d he added, highlighting both artists\u2019 skills.<\/p>\n
Thug also shared his top five albums, naming his own So Much Fun, JAY-Z\u2019s The Black Album, Drake\u2019s Take Care, 2Pac\u2019s All Eyez On Me, and, notably, Gunna\u2019s DS4Ever, despite their public falling out<\/a> following Gunna\u2019s plea deal in the YSL RICO case. When asked if a reconciliation is possible, Thug said, \u201cI don\u2019t know. As of right now, I don\u2019t think it could happen.\u201d<\/p>\n The conversation also touched on the ongoing debate over the best contemporary rapper.<\/p>\n In Thug\u2019s opinion, Drake ranks highest in his view, citing cultural impact and commercial success. <\/a>\u201cWho\u2019s the best? I gotta say Drake. He just did more, he put more people on\u2026 numbers-wise, statistically, impact on the culture, impact on the world, Drake comes out on top,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n He praised Kendrick Lamar as well, calling him \u201cthe G.O.A.T. of the whole West Coast<\/a>,\u201d despite liking the late Nipsey Hussle more. \u201cI like Nipsey better, but numbers-wise, Kendrick Lamar beats him,\u201d Thug added.<\/p>\n Thugga recently released his fourth album, UY Scuti, his first since being released from jail <\/a>last October.
