[WARNING: This post contains MAJOR spoilers from Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/a><\/em> Season 4, Episode 3.]<\/strong><\/p>\n Jussie Smollett<\/a> became the fourth recruit<\/a> to leave Season 4 of\u00a0Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/em> during the Thursday, October 9, episode. After an emotional questioning with the Directing Staff (DS) last week, Smollett\u2019s head wasn\u2019t totally in the game for the next day on the course.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was brutal,\u201d he told fellow recruit Ravi Patel<\/a>. \u201cI wish I would\u2019ve left before I did that interview\u2026I don\u2019t know why I can\u2019t just do the tasks and that\u2019s it. I\u2019m tired of fighting about something I didn\u2019t do.\u201d<\/p>\n Smollett was referring to the accusations<\/a> that he staged a hate crime against himself in 2019. Despite being accused by police of faking the attack, Smollett has maintained his innocence. \u201cIt was very painful, but I don\u2019t want to spend the rest of my life angry,\u201d he added in a confessional. \u201cI\u2019ve moved on.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite Smollett attempting to continue on in the course, he was medically withdrawn in Episode 3. Scroll down for more about why he had to leave the show.<\/p>\n Smollett began heavily coughing after partaking in the first exercise of Episode 3, which required the recruits, who were split into teams of three, to perform a rescue mission. He visited the medic to see what was going on.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019ve got inflammation right throughout your chest,\u201d the medic told Smollett. After leaving the exam room, the doctor explained to the DS, \u201cHe\u2019s developed an allergy to something in the dust, but his chest sounds horrendous.\u201d<\/p>\n The group then had to let Smollett know that he could not continue on the course. \u201cI know you\u2019re upset about it, but your chest is too bad,\u201d the medic revealed. \u201cI\u2019m afraid I\u2019m going to have to medically withdraw you.\u201d<\/p>\n Billy Billingham told a defeated Smollett, \u201cThe medical decision is being made, which means it\u2019s out of our hands. We are going to have to take [your armband].\u201d However, the DS acknowledged that it was earlier than they had planned on Smollett leaving. \u201cHe ain\u2019t done. He wasn\u2019t done with this course,\u201d Billingham admitted, with Reyes agreeing, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n Smollett was in tears after he was told the news. \u201cThere have been too many opportunities in my life to quit, on things, on myself,\u201d he shared. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t quit easily.\u201d<\/p>\n Prior to Smollett\u2019s exit, Brittany Cartwright<\/a>, Teresa Giudice<\/a>, and Eva Marcille<\/a> all also ended their time<\/a> on the show.
