Nicole Kidman<\/strong> has delved into the life experiences that come with age, weighing in on overcoming pain despite feeling \u201cbroken.\u201d In a recent interview, Kidman reflected on her journey following her split<\/strong> from country singer, Keith Urban<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In an interview with Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>, Nicole Kidman spoke about the wisdom that comes with experience. When asked about the best part of growing older, Kidman responded, saying, \u201cThe best part is the experiences that you\u2019ve accumulated.\u201d<\/p>\n The Hours actress added, \u201cSo you go, \u2018Oh, I\u2019ve been here before. I actually know how to handle this now.\u2019 Or, \u2018Maybe I haven\u2019t been in this place, but I\u2019ve experienced something similar to this, and I do know that I will get through it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The AMC Theaters brand ambassador further shared her perspective on overcoming challenges. She said, \u201cThere\u2019s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re going to have to feel it. You\u2019re not going to be able to numb it,\u201d Kidman explained. \u201cYou are going to have to feel it, and it\u2019s going to feel insurmountable at times. You\u2019re going to feel like you\u2019re broken, but if you move gently and slowly\u2014and it can take an enormous amount of time\u2014it does pass.\u201d<\/p>\n But as she gets older, Kidman wants to share the wisdom she\u2019s gained. \u201cI\u2019ve seen a lot, I\u2019ve experienced a lot, and I\u2019ve survived a lot. I want to pass on some of that knowledge and that wisdom and whatever I\u2019ve learned,\u201d she expressed.<\/p>\n Furthermore, the 58-year-old mother emphasized that her children are a major driving force in her life. She said, \u201cMy children [give me the] purpose of being their protector and their guide, promising them that I\u2019m here and that, no matter what, there\u2019s always a safe place to grow up in.\u201d<\/p>\n Kidman filed for divorce from Urban in late September after 19 years of marriage.
