After initial reluctance, he agreed to get checked.<\/p>\n Upon examination, Special Forces\u2019 Dr. Andy Brown, the Chief Medical Officer, shared that Smollett had inflammation throughout his chest. In the October 9 episode, the recruits had to compete in a physically demanding challenge. For this day three challenge, the recruits were instructed to track and extract fallen comrades in a simulated war zone in the middle of the Moroccan desert. It took a toll on several recruits, including Kody Brown, Gia Giudice, Andrew East, and Shawn Johnson.
