Tobey Maguire<\/strong><\/a> and Jennifer Meyer<\/strong><\/a> continue to prove they are the best of exes!<\/p>\n

The Spider-Man<\/em> actor, 50, was among the guests who attended a celebration to mark the 20th anniversary of Meyer\u2019s eponymous jewelry brand<\/a> in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 9.<\/p>\n

Maguire looked casual in a black baseball cap and hoodie as he posed with his ex-wife at the event. For her part, Meyer, 48, wore an oversized gray shirt and black slacks for the big night.<\/p>\n

The actor and celebrity jewelry designer met in 2003 and tied the knot in a Hawaii wedding in 2007. The couple welcomed their daughter, Ruby<\/strong>, now 18, in November 2006, followed in May 2009 by son Otis, 16.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSam Raimi addressed the persistent rumors that he\u2019ll direct Tobey Maguire in a fourth Spider-Man film, more than 15 years after their last collaboration. \u201cWell, I haven\u2019t heard about [Spider-Man 4] yet,\u201d Raimi, 64, told CBR while at WonderCon in Anaheim, California over the weekend. \u201cI did read that, but I\u2019m not actually working on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Maguire and Meyer announced their separation in October 2016 after nine years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,\u201d the couple said in a statement<\/a> to Us Weekly<\/em> at the time. \u201cAs devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meyer filed for divorce<\/a> from her estranged husband in 2020, four years after they went their separate ways.<\/p>\n

Despite their romantic relationship ending, Meyer and Maguire have remained good friends and coparents over the years.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer\u2019s daughter, Ruby, is now in college, and her mom is recovering from the drop-off experience. The jewelry designer, 48, shared photos from summer via Instagram on Tuesday, September 2, including snaps of herself getting emotional after Ruby, 18, headed off to school, reportedly at Brown University. \u201cI love summer so [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Two years after their split, Meyer told Us<\/em> in 2018<\/a>, \u201cHe\u2019s my best friend. He\u2019s the greatest ex-husband a girl could ever have.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe day begins with the kids and ends with the kids,\u201d the jewelry designer added. \u201cSo you manage to get your time in and work hard in the middle, you know? They\u2019re really amazing kids, so we figure it out together. It just manages to work out really well.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June 2022, Meyer further gushed over her bond with the Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em><\/a> star during an appearance on \u201cThe World\u2019s First\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been the most beautiful experience of my life having this beautiful breakup,\u201d Meyer said. \u201cI can\u2019t even explain. I would literally do anything in the world for Tobey. He is my brother. I love him to death, and we have the most beautiful family.\u201d<\/p>\n
