NBCUniversal Television and Streaming vice president of content acquisition Josh Vodnoy is joining V10 Entertainment as the company\u2019s head of domestic distribution, business development and licensing, TheWrap has learned exclusively.<\/p>\n

Vodnoy, who will be based in Los Angeles, will oversee oversee the company\u2019s recently acquired global distribution rights for\u00a0\u201cAmerica\u2019s Funniest Videos\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cMotoAmerica,\u201d as well as distribution of V10\u2019s global FAST networks, including\u00a0\u201cAlways Funny\u201d\u00a0and the upcoming\u00a0\u201cAFV Classics.\u201d <\/p>\n

He will also help oversee business development, licensing, partnerships and acquisitions for V10\u2019s massive clip library and additional original series across linear and streaming including\u00a0\u201cFollow Me,\u201d \u201cTotally Funny Kids & Animals,\u201d \u201cBlue Collar Auction,\u201d\u00a0\u201cWorld\u2019s Funniest Videos\u201d\u00a0and the upcoming original sports docuseries\u00a0\u201cArch Racing\u201d\u00a0with Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger, which is set to premiere in the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n

Vodnoy will report to V10 president Carter Skeath and work closely with head of international licensing and business development Samantha Cooper.<\/p>\n

At NBCUniversal, Vodnoy negotiated Peacock\u2019s multi-year deal for the in-season streaming rights to \u201cJeopardy!\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cWheel of Fortune.\u201d He also acquired Versant\u2019s upcoming series\u00a0\u201cEverything on the Menu with Braun Strowman,\u201d which will premiere on USA Network.<\/p>\n

Prior to NBCU, Vodnoy spent over 15 years at Paramount Global\/Viacom where he served as vice president of programming acquisitions, overseeing content deals across its suite of brands and domestic movie licensing within the company\u2019s global programming acquisitions group. <\/p>\n

With Vodnoy\u2019s acquisition deals reaching nine figures annually, he played a pivotal role in the growth of Paramount+, Pluto TV and BET+, as well as MTV Entertainment Networks, Nickelodeon, BET and Showtime during his 17-year tenure.<\/p>\n

The Clarion Capital-backed media company produces 250 hours of original content annually, with a comedy library of more than 2.8 million videos, as well as 44 owned digital and FAST channels.<\/p>\n
