Victoria Beckham<\/a> wasn\u2019t looking to spice up her life in 2008.<\/p>\n But her husband, David Beckham, \u201cguilted\u201d her into participating in the Spice Girls reunion tour at the time.<\/p>\n Posh spice, 51, opened up about getting back together with the group, which included Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton, in her Netflix docuseries,\u00a0\u201cVictoria Beckham.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cDavid was like, \u2018it\u2019s really good for the kids to see you do this,’\u201d she recalled, per\u00a0The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe mum-guilted me!,\u201d Victoria noted.<\/p>\n David, 50, chimed in that the reason he wanted his wife to do the tour was because \u201cour kids weren\u2019t around to see their mum be a Spice Girl!\u201d <\/p>\n The couple tied the knot in 1999 and are parents to sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14.<\/p>\n The Spice Girls first formed in 1994, before Halliwell, 53, departed the girl group in 1998.<\/p>\n The singer\u2019s exit led to a hiatus in late 2000 with the ladies splitting up for good in 2001. <\/p>\n Victoria went on to detail how she felt stepping foot on stage again in 2008.<\/p>\n \u201cI hadn\u2019t been Posh Spice for such a long time. It was good to be back with them,\u201d she recounted. <\/p>\n The group reunited once more in 2019, but Victoria declined the offer. <\/p>\n \u201cIt was good to celebrate the Spice Girls but it was during that [2008] tour that I realized I didn\u2019t belong on stage. It had been fun but it wasn\u2019t what I loved anymore,\u201d the mom of four confessed.<\/p>\n Since stepping away from music, Victoria has found a passion behind the scenes.<\/p>\n The media mogul became a fashion designer in 2008 and created her iconic namesake brand. <\/p>\n She is also the founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty. <\/p>\n However, in April 2024, the women did<\/em> give fans a taste of a mini reunion at\u00a0Victoria\u2019s 50th birthday party<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month, Mel B teased the possibility of a more official get together<\/a> ahead of the British group\u2019s 30-year anniversary of their 1996 debut album, \u201cSpice.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI hope so,\u201d she told The Post. \u201cSo many things that have been talked about between us and the press, my kids, their kids, us [as a] lot,\u201d adding that plans are set in stone.<\/p>\n But Victoria may not be up to participate. <\/p>\n In fact, in her docuseries, the designer admitted that she was \u201churt\u201d by one of Mel B\u2019s recent comments. <\/p>\n \u201cIt upset me not too long ago actually \u2013 Melanie B said to me \u2018don\u2019t forget where you\u2019ve come from,’\u201d Victoria shared on camera.<\/p>\n \u201cI have never forgotten where I\u2019ve come from. I have never forgotten that Posh Spice is the reason that I\u2019m sitting here now. She might have been grumpy but she was actually great.\u201d<\/p>\n On Wednesday, Halliwell, Bunton, 49, and Mel C, 51, were in attendance at the red\u00a0carpet premiere of the three part doc. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, the docuseries also dove into a difficult time in Victoria and David\u2019s marriage.<\/a><\/p>\n
