\u201cI\u2019ve wrestled with this post for days, trying to find the words to communicate the weight and complexity of what I\u2019ve lived through,\u201d Biermann, 40, captioned an Instagram post on Friday, October 10. \u201cHow do you put years of confusion, pain, and survival into a few paragraphs? How do you explain what it\u2019s like to be trapped in something that looks like love but feels like you\u2019re slowly being ripped apart?\u201d<\/p>\n

The caption was shared alongside a video of Biermann sitting in a dark room. The clip was set to Isaac Mather<\/strong>\u2019s song \u201cI\u2019m Proud You Stayed\u201d and featured the same words from his caption flashing on the screen. (Comments on the post were limited.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a time I didn\u2019t think I\u2019d make it. The pain was so constant, the confusion, the isolation, the gaslighting. \n\t\t\tKroy Biermann is taking time for himself amid his ongoing divorce from Kim Zolciak-Biermann \u2014 and he hopes that his fans will do the same. The former NFL player, 37, recently told his Instagram followers that he\u2019s been reading a book that suggested he \u201cpraise [himself] according to several specific character traits.\u201d The book included [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He added, \u201cAnd eventually, I started to believe, maybe I was the problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biermann wrote that he \u201cprayed for it all to just stop,\u201d as the lengthy note continued.<\/p>\n

Zolciak-Biermann, 46, did not mince words when approached by a TMZ reporter at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, December 16. When asked to describe what she\u2019s going through in her personal life, the reality star replied: \u201cTorture.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019re going through torture [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Biermann noted that he is \u201cstill healing\u201d and has \u201cscars\u201d after the tumultuous relationship<\/a> he\u2019s referencing.<\/p>\n
