Trista Sutter<\/a> is setting the record straight on recent online rumors \u2014 particularly those suggesting her family will soon be growing.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seems I need to clear something up,\u201d Sutter began her Wednesday, October 8, Instagram<\/a> video. \u201cI got a text from a friend. Her daughter used to date my son, Max, and I\u2019ve posted pictures about them when they were together, and those pictures \u2014 as well as pictures of my family \u2014 have been used for clickbait. Have you heard the news? Well, I did last night.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cnews\u201d was that rumors have spread online alleging that Sutter is becoming a grandmother. Trista shares two children \u2014 son Maxwell, 18, and daughter Blakesley, 16 \u2014 with her husband, Ryan Sutter<\/a>, whom she met on Season 1 of The Bachelorette<\/a><\/em> in 2003.<\/p>\n After initially reacting to the rumors with \u201claughter,\u201d Sutter said she found herself angry at the situation, mainly because photos of her children were being used without her permission to spread false rumors.<\/p>\n \u201cTo those who are gonna come after me and say, \u2018Oh, well, you\u2019re in the public eye. You should expect this.\u2019 Well, it\u2019s one thing if it\u2019s me,\u201d she stated. \u201cThat\u2019s fine. I can just ignore it because I know it comes with the territory. It shouldn\u2019t, but it comes with the territory. It\u2019s another thing that it\u2019s my children. Don\u2019t mess with their future or their present.\u201d<\/p>\n Sutter\u2019s video included screenshots of articles about the grandmother rumors. \u201cLet me clarify, I\u2019m very much looking forward to becoming a grandma and would, of course, support my children, but I\u2019m hoping that it\u2019s maybe a little farther down the road,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Suttr continued, \u201cI am not OK with people making up lies [and] posting them for their own benefit on social media. They\u2019ve done this to me before, where they said that I was just diagnosed with Alzheimer\u2019s. I have a really bad memory, but I have never been diagnosed with Alzheimer\u2019s. I did lose my grandmother to Alzheimer\u2019s, so I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s where that idea came from for them. I don\u2019t know what to do. I know you can report different pages to Facebook for bullying and harassment.
