The Jonas Brothers singer and a small entourage visited Diane’s Place in the afternoon, followed by St. Pierre Steak & Seafood in the evening.<\/p>\n
A manger for Diane’s Place told the\u00a0Minnesota Star Tribune<\/a>\u00a0that Jonas spent about three hours on the Northeast Minneapolis restaurant’s patio with a handful of friends. She said\u00a0the fiery papaya salad was among the dishes ordered by his crew.<\/p>\n St. Pierre in the North Loop also welcomed Jonas and his friends, as well as members of The All-American Rejects \u2013 who are opening for Jonas on Friday,\u00a0co-owner Nancy St. Pierre confirmed to\u00a0Bring Me The News<\/a>.<\/p>\n Joe Jonas is performing at the Grand Casino Arena.Jennifer Linnea Photography, Flickr (image cropped)<\/p>\n Neither restaurant has posted about their recent brush with fame on social media, though both are no stranger to the spotlight themselves.<\/p>\n Diane’s Place has been racking up nods from local and national publications, including\u00a0The New York Times<\/a> and\u00a0Food & Wine<\/a>, since it opened in April 2024.<\/p>\n St. Pierre didn’t make quite as much of splash when it replaced Snack Bar earlier this year. But it’s a quasi-revival of Burch Steak, the sorely missed four-star restaurant from\u00a0award-winning chef\u00a0Isaac Becker and his wife, St. Pierre, the duo behind Bar La Grassa and 112 Eatery.<\/p>\n The Jonas Brothers are\u00a0performing Friday night at Grand Casino Arena<\/a> in downtown St. Paul.
