Three Eagles ran under 19 minutes including <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/alitza-dennard\/9491\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"9491\">Alitza Dennard<\/a><\/dfn> (18:35.42), <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/kayla-johnson\/9494\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"9494\">Kayla Johnson<\/a><\/dfn> (18:39.72) and <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/laila-jackson\/8203\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"8203\">Laila Jackson<\/a><\/dfn> (18:47.17).<\/p>\n<p>After Friday&#8217;s results, Dennard is the top-ranked runner in the MEAC. Johnson is third and Jackson ranks fifth. <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/navi-mcdowell\/9500\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"9500\">Navi McDowell<\/a><\/dfn> ranks 11<sup>th<\/sup>, <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/gianna-marquez\/8206\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"8206\">Gianna Marquez<\/a><\/dfn> ranks 17<sup>th<\/sup> and <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/victoria-swepson\/8208\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"8208\">Victoria Swepson<\/a><\/dfn> is 21<sup>st<\/sup> heading into Saturday, Oct. 11.<\/p>\n<p>Four runners &#8211; Dennard, Johnson, Jackson and McDowell \u2013 recorded personal-best times at the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the Eagles placed 11<sup>th<\/sup> out of 18 teams in a very competitive field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MEN&#8217;S GOLD 8K RACE<\/strong><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nFive Eagles ran season-best times in the men&#8217;s Gold 8K race. <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/emmanuel-paddyfote\/8207\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"8207\">Emmanuel Paddyfote<\/a><\/dfn>, who led the way with a time of 25:49.64, was the only Eagle to run under 26 minutes.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAfter Friday&#8217;s performance, five NCCU runners are ranked among the top 25 in the MEAC heading into Saturday, Oct. 11. <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/ryan-chong\/8231\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"8231\">Ryan Chong<\/a><\/dfn> is 11<sup>th<\/sup> followed by Paddyfote at 12<sup>th<\/sup> and Hinkle at 15<sup>th<\/sup>. <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/evans-kimutai\/9496\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"9496\">Evans Kimutai<\/a><\/dfn> and <dfn><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nccueaglepride.com\/sports\/cross-country\/roster\/juan-tinajero-jr-\/9634\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"9634\">Juan Tinajero
