VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) \u2014 Singer and songwriter Pharrell Williams was in his hometown of Virginia Beach Friday night to meet fans at a new pop-up shop. <\/p>\n
The pop-up shop opened Friday and carries his brand, Virginia,<\/strong><\/a> as well as the brand-new Adidas Adistar Jellyfish<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just so exciting and refreshing to see someone from Virginia to really represent us so well,\u201d said fan Shareese Johnson. \u201cI saw his Instagram, and he was like, he\u2019s gonna pop out 10\/10, so I\u2019m all excited. Everybody came here to see the shoes, but honestly, I just came here to see Pharrell.\u201d<\/p>\n The Virginia brand encompasses all kinds of items, including shirts and souvenirs, which are all on display for shoppers to check out. But the big-ticket item are the new shoes, which are available in two new colorways for the first time and retail for $300. <\/p>\n \u201cI support anybody from Virginia number one, but Pharrell. I\u2019ve loved him as an artist since I was a child, so I\u2019m definitely a big fan of his,\u201d said fan Amari Bacot. <\/p>\n The pop-up shop is located at 332 20th<\/sup> Street, Suite 130, right next to Atlantic Park. <\/p>\n Bacot said she was excited to see Pharrell because of how he continues to support the Commonwealth. <\/p>\n \u201cPharrell, he reps Virginia harder than anybody,\u201d Bacot said. \u201cIt\u2019s really nice, because we\u2019re not a super big state, so it\u2019s nice to have such a big name celebrity represent for Virginia.\u201d<\/p>\n The pop-up will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. <\/p>\n Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
