Could the popular 1990s alternative rock band Sugar be making a comeback?<\/p>\n
Well, according to a recent report from Loudwire<\/b><\/a>, it looks like that might be in the works.<\/p>\n What tipped the outlet off to that? Well, the band\u2019s social media accounts are suddenly active, and have shared a pair of teasers from songs on the group\u2019s \u201cCopper Blue\u201d album. <\/p>\n You can see those teasers here <\/b><\/a>and here.<\/b><\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n Sugar was only active from 1992 through 1995, meaning that this is the 30th anniversary of their final year together. <\/p>\n The band was fronted by Bob Mould with bassist David Barbe and drummer Malcolm Travis. <\/p>\n Mould is the best known of the group having previously played with H\u00fcsker D\u00fc in the 1980s. <\/p>\n Loudwire noted that the band was best known for singles such as \u201cHelpless,\u201d which made it to No. 5 on the alternative airplay charts and \u201cYour Favorite Thing,\u201d which made it to No. 14 on the Alternative Airplay charts.
