Meghan Markle was in Paris over the weekend<\/a>, which didn\u2019t surprise one royal watcher, because that\u2019s the Duchess’s thing, to be out and about when fall sets in.<\/p>\n

According to Jane Barr, typically Meghan<\/a> is spotted in New York<\/a> City cosplaying Amal Clooney<\/a> this time of year, but she switched things up and went the Princess Diana<\/a> route overseas instead.<\/p>\n

Barr, who writes the From Berkshire to Buckingham<\/em> Substack, said Meghan\u2019s Paris pop-up<\/a> was giving Princess Diana vibes, stepping out in style and really enjoying herself during Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

The Duchess\u2019 all white Balenciaga pant suit didn\u2019t necessarily scream revenge dress, but she did wear a cape, which may have earned her some fashion points \u2014 it just depends on who\u2019s keeping count.<\/p>\n

Barr went over what she was seeing and why Meghan\u2019s behavior reminded her of the late royal: \u201cSometimes fall finds Meghan in New York<\/a> cosplaying Amal Clooney, but this year she switched it up and went full-on Diana with a trip to Paris\u00a0<\/strong>complete with red carpet appearance and flashing cameras as she arrives or departs her hotel.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Harry was just in London a few weeks ago<\/a> and now Meghan is popping up in Paris, with the royal writer saying it’s not a coincidence. Sykes believes it would be naive to not link the two appearances together, and that the Sussexes seem to be up to something.<\/p>\n

His theory is that the Sussexes would like to make a quiet return to the UK and this may be first steps in the \u201cSussex operation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sykes said: \u201cHarry said he wanted to spend more time in Britain. The couple\u2019s much-publicized security concerns seem to have faded. Both now appear willing to cross the Atlantic quietly, without the drama that once surrounded their every move.\u201d<\/p>\n

he added: “Her Paris appearance, unveiled to millions through Instagram reels<\/a>, carried all the signatures of the Sussex operation: celebrity and glamour softened by a narrative of friendship and creativity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery image\u2014the tailored white suit, the chauffeured car, the candlelit after-party, and the black evening dress\u2014was part of the same message: that she is relevant again on a continent where her in-laws still dominate the stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Sykes\u2019 description, it seems he\u2019s picking up on Diana vibes, too, someone who can go from day-to-evening without missing a beat, balancing royal and celeb life, and most importantly, it\u2019s \u201csoft power reclaimed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
