The video welcomes <strong>Matthew Lillard (Scream, Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s, SLC Punk)<\/strong> and <strong>Phil Morris (Seinfeld, Smallville, Doom Patrol)<\/strong> to the ever-expanding <strong>INKverse<\/strong>, alongside returning collaborator <strong>Terry Kiser (Weekend at Bernie\u2019s, Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the new song, frontman <strong>Spencer Charnas<\/strong> shares, <em>\u201cwhy be a brooding bat when you can have the last laugh? After all, <strong>Jack Nicholson<\/strong> got top billing in <strong>Batman<\/strong> \u201989. While <strong>Michael Keaton<\/strong>\u2018s haunted <strong>Bruce<\/strong> <strong>Wayne<\/strong> is outstanding, young <strong>Spencer<\/strong> was drawn more to the Clown Prince of Crime. <strong>The Laugh Track<\/strong> is our homage to<strong> Tim Burton<\/strong>\u2018s dark and gorgeous gothic <strong>Gotham<\/strong>. <strong>Batman<\/strong> \u201989 took its comic book material seriously, but it was far from grounded, and never forgot to have fun. It\u2019s the same tightrope we walk in <strong>ICE NINE KILLS<\/strong>, with broad, maniacal smiles.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Terry Kiser<\/strong> returns in the video (although the rumours of <strong>Miles<\/strong>\u2018 demise are exaggerated). And it brings a warm human smile to my face to introduce <strong>Matthew<\/strong> <strong>Lillard<\/strong> and <strong>Phil Morris<\/strong> to the <strong>INKverse<\/strong>.
