Well, when it comes to college football rivalries, apparently, there\u2019s no room for love, and if you don\u2019t believe it just ask Megan Moroney.<\/p>\n
Because the 27 year old revealed on a recent appearance on \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers,\u201d that is exactly what happened to her.<\/p>\n
It turns out that Moroney grew up in a house full of Georgia Bulldog fans and she went on to become a student at the University of Georgia. That is where he career started to take off, and after graduation in 2020 she moved to Nashville to go after her music career. <\/p>\n
While there she apparently fell in love with someone who was a Tennessee Volunteers fan and she wrote the song, \u201cTennessee Orange.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSo when I moved to Nashville, I found myself a Volunteers shirt, and I remember looking in the mirror, going \u2018My mom would absolutely kill me right now if she saw me in this gaudy orange,\u2019\u201d she told Meyers. <\/b><\/a>\u201cSo then I thought, that would make a really good love song. Like \u2018I like this dude enough to not wear Georgia Red.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Parade Magazine said that \u201cTennessee Orange,\u201d currently has more than 425 million streams on Spotify. <\/p>\n That is when Moroney made the shocking admission.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I got death threats over that song,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n Moroney, Meyers and the audience were able to laugh that off because, thankfully, nobody has attempted to make good on the threats. <\/p>\n Moroney had a big week outside of her appearance on Myers\u2019 show, dropping her \u201cAm I Okay?
