LIVE FROM NEW YORK \u2014 \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d is gearing up for Amy Poehler\u2019s return. <\/p>\n
Poehler, a cast member from 2001 to 2008, anchored \u201cWeekend Update\u201d<\/a> during her tenure and has hosted twice before \u2014 once in 2010<\/a> and again in 2015 alongside Tina Fey. This marks her second solo outing as host, with musician Role Model making his debut as the musical guest.<\/p>\n The show kicked off its 51st season on Oct. 4 with musician Bad Bunny as host and musical guest Doja Cat performing.<\/p>\n \u201cSNL\u201d fans will be excited to know that former Staten Islander Colin Jost, the longest-serving \u201cWeekend Update\u201d anchor in the show\u2019s history, is still behind the desk.
