Eric Dane stunned fans back in April when he announced that he has been diagnosed with ALS, but this week he made it clear to everyone that he is going to battle the disease every step of the way.<\/p>\n
Dane, who starred in the hit HBO series \u201cEuphoria\u201d has two daughters, Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 13, and he said he plans to be around to watch them grow.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanna ring every bell,\u201d he told California congressman Eric Swalwell in a TikTok video on Sept. 29. \u201cI have two daughters at home. I wanna see them graduate college, get married, maybe have grandkids.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanna be there for all that,\u201d he added. \u201cSo, I\u2019m going to fight until the last breath on this one.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dane, 52, spoke with Swalwell in Washington, D.C. about funding for ALS research, according to E!News. <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Dane first addressed his diagnosis back in April. <\/p>\n \u201cI am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this chapter,\u201d he told People Magazine then. <\/p>\n \u201cI feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to \u2018Euphoria\u2019 next week,\u201d he added. \u201cI kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n There is no cure for ALS, which is also called Lou Gehrig\u2019s Disease.
