Keeping it simple and real, she said, \u201cI did it because I really wanted to work with Cillian Murphy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Indeed, the reason is powerful \u2013 but it came at a cost. Ferguson played Ilsa Faust in the Mission Impossible franchise, and her contract meant she couldn\u2019t take other jobs. Departing from the franchise in Dead Reckoning: Part One<em>, which even seemed inevitable<\/em> as director Christopher McQuarrie and her \u201chad the same idea\u201d that \u201cthere was nothing more to do\u201d with the character, Ferguson had her schedule wide open for other projects. What next?
