Every year, the Strictly contestants might look like they\u2019ve
\njust come back from a six-week holiday in Barbados. But in reality, most
\nhaven\u2019t set foot beyond the BBC\u2019s studios in Elstree.<\/p>\n

Strictly\u2019s resident fake tanner, Carrie Marsh, has been
\nexplaining how she and her team usually set up camp in Anton du Beke\u2019s dressing
\nroom every week with their spray-tan machine and products.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost people have a full-body spray tan,\u201d she tells BBC Radio
\nBerkshire. \u201cSome of the gents, if they\u2019re not getting their legs out, they\u2019ll
\njust have the top half of their body sprayed, especially if they\u2019ve got an open
\nshirt and they\u2019re showing their chest. But most of the time it\u2019s full-body.\u201d<\/p>\n

While some of the celebs might be initially reluctant to get a
\nspray tan, Marsh says most become more enthusiastic and a few even ask for
\ndarker shades with every passing week.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes it depends on the dance they\u2019re doing or the outfit
\nthey\u2019re wearing,\u201d she says, \u201cand I decide what colour to spray them from
\nthere.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, she adds in another interview with BBC Radio Lancashire,
\nsome celebrities also want to make sure the tan will have disappeared by the
\ntime they show up for other jobs on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019ve got actors who are still doing scenes in shows, you
\ndo have to be careful not to take them too dark,\u201d she notes, \u201cor I just give
\nthem lots of advice on how to get it off more quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
