\n\tHollywood is mourning the loss of Diane Keaton<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Oscar-winning actress \u2014\u00a0known for her roles in Annie Hall, <\/em>the Godfather <\/em>trilogy, Father of the Bride<\/em>, Something\u2019s Gotta Give<\/em> and The First Wives Club<\/em> \u2014 died on Saturday<\/a> in California at the age of 79. Her cause of death is not yet available.<\/p>\n \n\tFollowing the news of her death, many of her former co-stars, industry figures and stars took to social media to share tributes.<\/p>\n \n\tRobert De Niro shared a statement with The Hollywood Reporter,<\/em> which reads: \u201cI am very sad to hear of Diane\u2019s\u00a0passing.\u00a0I was very fond of her and the news of her leaving us has taken me totally by surprise. I was not expecting her to leave us. She will be missed. \u00a0May she rest in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBette Midler, who starred alongside Keaton and Goldie Hawn in 1996\u2019s The First Wives Club, <\/em>took to Instagram to write: \u201cThe brilliant, beautiful, extraordinary Diane Keaton has died. I cannot tell you how unbearably sad this makes me. She was hilarious, a complete original, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was\u2026oh, la, lala!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAdditionally, Hawn\u2019s daughter and actress Kate Hudson shared a clip of three women in the film with the caption, \u201cWe love you so much Diane.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSteve Martin, whom she starred alongside in 1991\u2019s Father of the Bride<\/em>, shared a clip of a 2021 interview she did with Martin Short for Interview<\/a><\/em> magazine<\/a>, in which Short asks Keaton, \u201cWho\u2019s sexier, me or Steve Martin?,\u201d and Keaton replies, \u201cI mean, you\u2019re both idiots.\u201d Martin captioned the post: \u201cDon\u2019t know who first posted this, but it sums up our delightful relationship with Diane.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBelow, see all of the tributes (so far) that stars have made.<\/p>\n
