It can be viewed below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">At that point in 2000, Slipknot were at the peak of their powers and riding high on the success of their <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/features\/slipknot-story-behind-their-debut-album\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:1999 self-titled debut album;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">1999 self-titled debut album<\/a>, which went on to earn triple platinum certification and was once voted the best debut album of the last 25 years by Metal Hammer magazine readers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The band run through the songs <em>Eyeless<\/em>, <em>Liberate<\/em> and <em>Me Inside<\/em> during the soundcheck, which sees frontman Corey Taylor seemingly as animated as if it were the show itself. They also tease a short blast of Eric Clapton&#8217;s classic <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/features\/layla-by-derek-and-the-dominos\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Derek and the Dominos track Layla;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Derek and the Dominos track <em>Layla<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">They also play a snippet of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/features\/every-pantera-album-ranked-from-worst-to-best\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Pantera;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Pantera<\/a>&#8216;s <em>A New Level<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Taylor was joined in the lineup at the time by late bass player <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/features\/paul-gray-the-life-and-death-of-slipknots-quiet-genius\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Paul Gray;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Paul Gray<\/a>, late drummer <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/one-best-drummers-metal-world-165058928.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Joey Jordison;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">Joey Jordison<\/a>, guitarists Mick Thomson, Craig Jones and Jim Root, percussionists Shawn &#8216;Clown&#8217; Crahan and Chris Fehn and DJ Sid Wilson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Gray died in a hotel room in Iowa in 2010 at the age of 28, with the news devastating the band and the metal world. Jordison left Slipknot in 2013 and died in 2021 at the age of 46.
