Meghan Markle\u2019s secretive plot to return to the fold has been exposed by insiders close to the Duchess. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Markle\u2019s recent very public visit to Paris Fashion Week with her loyal pal Markus Anderson was reportedly all part of her \u201cEstablishment plot\u201d that insiders claim is being backed by courtiers and some senior politicians. <\/p>\n

Daily Mail\u2019s<\/span> Richard Eden has revealed that the plan for Meghan to rebuild her public image in the UK and have the royal family warm to her again is known within her inner-circle as \u201cProject Thaw\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis trip [to Paris] is all part of the \u2018thaw\u2019 process,\u201d a friend of the California-based couple told Daily Mail<\/span><\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cProject Thaw\u201d is reportedly aiming to \u201cmelt\u201d the hostility that has been built up between Meghan and the monarch for years, ever since she and Prince Harry made allegations of racism and quit royal life. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s thought Meghan hoped to capitalise off Harry\u2019s recent visit to the UK where he was invited to Clarence House to see King Charles for the first time in 19 months. <\/p>\n

After Harry\u2019s closed doors meeting with his father, he visited war-torn Ukraine with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. <\/p>\n

According to insiders, Cooper is among those within the establishment that hopes for Harry to make a return to royal life in the UK. <\/p>\n

While on the trip, Harry made his intentions abundantly clear, revealing in an interview with The Guardian<\/span><\/a> that he still holds hope of being able to move back to his home country with his family in the future. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis week has definitely brought that closer,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed the next stage in the plan to rebuild their image in the eyes of the British public is to have their first joint visit to the country since September 2022. <\/p>\n

\u201cMeghan will return to Britain before the year is out,\u201d added a pal of Meghan\u2019s, telling Daily Mail<\/span><\/a> she will be \u201cbearing humble pie\u201d. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan made a rare joint appearance<\/a> as they attended a glitzy gala in New York on Friday, arriving at the event holding hands.<\/p>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles as they walked the red carpet for the annual Project Healthy Minds\u2019 World Mental Health Day Gala, during which they were honoured for their ongoing charity work.<\/p>\n

The couple were presented with the Humanitarians of the Year award for their charitable efforts through their Archewell Foundation, among other things such as online safety for children.<\/p>\n
