Poehler, who once sat behind the \u201cUpdate\u201d newsdesk, criticized a weak punchline from Jost and called for a \u201cjoke-off.\u201d<\/p>\n The semi-recurring segment on \u201cWeekend Update\u201d isn\u2019t quite as beloved as a Che and Jost\u2019s regular joke swap<\/a>, but it has a similar competitive spirit at its heart.
