Dan Abrams<\/strong>, Mediaite founder and host of On Patrol: Live<\/em><\/a> had a \u201chot take\u201d for his co-host as they celebrated the show\u2019s 300th episode.<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t forget everybody, happy 300th!\u201d Abrams exclaimed \u2014 during Saturday\u2019s episode of On Patrol: First Shift<\/em>, which airs immediately before OPL<\/em> each week on Reelz \u2014 while pointing to the \u201cOPL 300\u201d patches on his vest.<\/p>\n The two-day celebration took a look back of some of the reality show\u2019s most memorable moments, but as it turns out, Abrams was about to make his own \u201cmemorable moment\u201d on the set.<\/p>\n In his enthusiasm, pointing at the OPL 300 logos, Abrams managed to knock over an entire tumbler of hot tea that spilled over the desk and onto law enforcement analyst Curtis Wilson<\/strong>, who tried to dive out of the way.<\/p>\n \u201c300! 300! There it is!\u201d Abrams exclaimed as Wilson added, \u201cIt\u2019s such a hot show!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSorry, Curtis!\u201d Abrams said as Wilson surveyed the mess, claiming, \u201cI\u2019m good.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCan we keep that?\u201d Abrams asked the production crew.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, let\u2019s keep it,\u201d Wilson agreed.<\/p>\n On Patrol: Live<\/em> debuted in July 2022 as a revival of Abrams\u2019s original show, Live PD<\/em>, which aired on A&E. The show utilizes more than 50 live cameras to follow police and sheriff\u2019s deputies as they respond to calls from departments across the country. The show also features \u201cCitizen Ride-Alongs,\u201d that give locals a chance to ride with officers in their cruisers, as well as \u201cCitizens On-Set,\u201d which invites community members into the studio as guests.<\/p>\n To mark the 300th episode milestone, Abrams told<\/a> Variety<\/em> that the show would revisit classic segments that highlight its \u201cmost memorable and intense moments, from the shocking and dramatic to the bizarre and sometimes humorous.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis show has come to be more than just a job for me,\u201d Abrams told the outlet. \u201cYes, it\u2019s a really fun series to work on, but I also think it\u2019s so important to offer a window into what police officers do and see across America on a daily basis.
