You\u2019ve left us with a trail of fairy dust, filled with particles of light and memories beyond imagination,\u201d Hawn wrote alongside a photo of Keaton.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u201cHow do we say goodbye? What words can come to mind when your heart is broken? You never liked praise, so humble, but now you can\u2019t tell me to \u2018shut up\u2019 honey. There was, and will be, no one like you. You stole the hearts of the world and shared your genius with millions, making films that made us laugh and cry in ways only you could.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was blessed to make \u2018First Wives Club\u2019\u00a0with you, our days starting with coffee in the makeup trailer, laughing and joking, right through to the very last day of filming,\u201d Hawn added. \u201cIt was a roller coaster of love.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe agreed to grow old together, and one day, maybe live together with all our girlfriends,\u201d Hawn wrote. \u201cWell, we never got to live together, but we did grow older together. And, though she didn\u2019t know it or wouldn\u2019t admit it, man she was a fine actress!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDiane was magic,\u201d Steenburgen wrote in a statement to Fox News Digital. \u201cThere was no one, nor will there ever be, anyone like her. I loved her and felt blessed to be her friend. My love to her family. What a wonder she was!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bergen also shared a statement with Fox News Digital, writing, \u201cThis is a huge loss both personally and for all of us. Diane was a true artist \u2013 tremendously gifted and uniquely talented in so many disciplines yet also modest and wonderfully eccentric.
